His Grace Bishop Irinej delivers address at annual Prayer Service for the Unborn

On Sunday evening, January 16, 2022, His Grace Bishop Irinej of Eastern America presided over the Prayer Service for the unborn, their parents, and the souls of those who perished from the act of abortion, and for those who would end their lives, at Saint Sava Serbian Orthodox Cathedral in Parma, Ohio. The Service of Prayer was concelebrated by the Venerable Hieromonk Nektarije (Tesanovic) of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church in Lorain, Ohio, the Very Rev. Protopresbyter Stavrophor Remus Grama of St. Mary’s Romanian Orthodox Cathedral in Cleveland, Ohio, and the Rev. Deacon Milan Damljanovic, of St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Cathedral in Parma, Ohio. Responses were rendered by Maksim Damljanovic.
Metropolitan Tikhon Leads Virtual March of Life

On Thursday evening, January 28, His Beatitude Metropolitan Tikhon led the 2021 March for Life for the faithful of the Orthodox Church in America. This March was held virtually this year because of the present health situation. His Beatitude served a Molieben in Three Hierarchs Chapel at Saint Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminary, and then offered a reflection. After his reflection, His Beatitude joined seminarians and watched the rest of the event from St. Vladimir’s Seminary.

His Beatitude spoke following the service held at Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Cleveland Heights, OH presided by the Cathedral dean, Protopresbyter Stephen Callos, and Archpriest Alexander Garklavs, rector of Holy Trinity Orthodox Church in Parma, OH.

An overview of ZOE for Life!® given followed by a group discussion on exploring future possibilities of ZOE for Life!® ministries in the Greater Pittsburgh Area. This presentation was an initiative of the Orthodox Clergy Brotherhood of Greater Pittsburgh.

Cleveland Heights, Ohio – The Greater Cleveland Council of Orthodox Clergy and the Orthodox Christian charity ZOE For Life!® sponsored a free day-long retreat on “Coming to Know and Sharing Christ” conducted by the Very Rev. Dr. John Behr at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church in Cleveland, OH.
Father Behr is an internationally known Orthodox theologian and author. He is director of the Master of Theology Program and Father George Florovsky Distinguished Lecturer in Patristics at St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminary, Yonkers, N.Y.
