Greater Cleveland Council of Orthodox Clergy, ZOE For Life!® to sponsor retreat on ‘Coming to Know and Sharing Christ’ in Cleveland Feb. 16

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio – The Greater Cleveland Council of Orthodox Clergy and the Orthodox Christian charity ZOE For Life!® will sponsor a free day-long retreat on “Coming to Know and Sharing Christ” conducted by the Very Rev. Dr. John Behr on Saturday, Feb. 16 at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 2587 W. 14th St., Cleveland, OH, 44113.

Father Behr is an internationally known Orthodox theologian and author. He is director of the Master of Theology Program and Father George Florovsky Distinguished Lecturer in Patristics at St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminary, Yonkers, N.Y.

The retreat will begin with registration at 9:30 a.m. and conclude with Vespers at 5 p.m. Lunch will be served at noon.

While the retreat is free of charge, “free will offerings to ZOE For Life!® are always gratefully accepted,” President Paula Kappos said. Remittance envelopes with tickets to the retreat have been mailed to Orthodox churches in the Cleveland area, and free-will offerings will be accepted at the retreat. ZOE for Life!® is a non-profit Christ-centered support organization with three major goals: to help women who need confidential emotional and spiritual support during crisis pregnancies; to assist Orthodox Christians seeking to adopt; and to provide an education for pure living and other resources. ZOE for Life!® is endorsed by the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the United States of America.
